OpenAI announces ChatGPT Plus at $20 a month .. I feel the Need the Need for Speed!

OpenAI has announced ChatGPT Plus, a monthly subscription service for $20 that provides priority access to the AI chatbot and faster response times.

• Invitations will be sent out over the coming weeks in the US with plans to expand globally.

• The lower cost of $20 makes it more accessible for students and businesses who need reliable access to AI-generated text.

• Free access will still be available; paid users help support availability of free access as much as possible

The best use for AI eye contact tech is making movie stars look straight at the camera .. and the results are hilarious!

•AI tools have been released that enable real-time video call editing to ensure the caller is making eye contact with the camera, such as FaceTime, Microsoft Teams and Nvidia Broadcast.

• This technology raises questions regarding unbroken eye contact being good or creepy, and its implications on digital identity.

• Daniel Hashimoto has used this tech to edit movie scenes so actors make eye contact with the camera for his Action Movie Kids YouTube channel and weekly podcast.

• By connecting up his web browser to Nvidia’s Broadcast software, he was able create these clips in real time; noting that it animates in/out based on a person’s head direction while respecting when they look away from screen.

ChatGPT is continuing to smash all records .. beating TikTok and Instagram to 100 million active users

•ChatGPT, an AI chatbot launched two months ago, is on track to exceed 100 million monthly active users (MAUs) faster than TikTok or Instagram.

• UBS analysts believe that the app's success has put Google in a bind as it must decide whether to commit too much and risk margin erosion or fail to impress and raise questions about its competitive position.

• According to UBS research, the total addressable market for ChatGPT could be worth up $1 trillion - a number heard from VCs who are bullish on the potential of this technology.
