• Live 95.5, a radio station in Portland, Oregon introduced "AI Ashley", an AI-powered tool that uses GPT-4 to generate a script and reads it with a synthetic voice.

• Alpha Media assured listeners that the traditional DJ Ashley Elzinga will not lose her job.

• Listeners can expect a mix of traditional Ashley and AI Ashley segments.

• Alpha Media is using RadioGPT as an efficient tool for radio hosts to have in their toolset rather than to save costs.

• RadioGPT scans over 250,000 news sources as well as stories on social media platforms to identify trending stories, and then human moderators review and edit generated content before it goes out on the air.

META VoiceBox Takes Text-to-Speech Tech to New Heights, Mirroring ChatGPT's Learning

• Accenture will invest $3 billion over the next three years into AI, with a focus on hiring, training, acquisitions and increasing their Data & AI practice team from 40,000 to 80,000.

• Accenture also announced its AI Navigator for Enterprise platform and will launch data and AI readiness accelerators across 19 industries.

• A new Center for Advanced AI is being launched to further advance uses of generative AI.

• Accenture's investment follows other software leaders such as Salesforce, Oracle and ServiceNow who are seeking to provide their own AI tools to clients.

• Alphabet Inc., the parent company of Google, has advised employees not to use its AI chatbots for confidential matters.

• Google's own Bard and competitor ChatGPT are AI-driven programs that can hold conversations with users.

• 43% of professionals have been using ChatGPT or other AI tools without their bosses' knowledge, per a survey.

• Google's privacy notice has been updated to warn against including confidential information in conversations.
